This is a Saturday night call at a plumbing company.
Nobody is at the desk. Nobody is going to be. Watch what happens instead of a voicemail nobody checks until Monday.

Caller
Water heater is leaking all over the garage floor. Do you do emergencies?
Vantaro AI
We do. First — is there a shutoff valve on the pipe above the heater? Turning it clockwise will stop the flow while we get to you.
Caller
Got it, turned it off. Thanks.
Vantaro AI
Good. I have a tech who can be there tonight between 9 and 10, or first thing at 7:30 AM. Which do you need?
Caller
Tonight if you can. 1440 Kingsley.
Vantaro AI
Tonight it is. Dispatching now — I am flagging this to the on-call tech and texting you his ETA.

Recreation of a real call flow
What just happened
- It answered on the second ring at 8:12 PM on a Saturday.
- It handled the emergency first — shutoff valve, then logistics.
- It captured the service address and the nature of the job.
- It decided this one was urgent and escalated to a human.
- It held a morning slot so the lead could not drift.
- The owner got a text with the transcript and the address.
How the call goes
Before we talk — about 3 minutes
We call your business line after hours and record it. No pretending to be a customer with a fake emergency, and we tell you exactly what we said.
On the call — about 15 minutes
You hear your recording. Then you hear the AI handle the same call, using your hours, your services, your pricing. Then we talk about whether the numbers work.
If it is a fit — about 7 days
We build it, you approve how it sounds before it answers a single real call, and it goes live. If it is not a fit we say so on that first call.
Prefer to just call? (206) 601-6076. If we are with a client our own system picks up, which is a demo in itself.
What owners ask first.
Will it sound like a robot?
No, and you get to judge that before it answers a single real call. It speaks in a natural voice, it pauses, it handles someone talking over it. It also does not pretend to be a human being — it introduces itself as Vantaro's assistant for your business. Customers are fine with that. What they mind is being ignored.
What happens when it does not know the answer?
It says so, takes the details, and escalates to you — a text with the transcript and a callback number. It never invents a price, never promises a time it cannot book, and never guesses about something like a warranty. The rule we build to is that a caller should never be told something you would have to walk back.
Am I replacing my front desk person?
Most of our clients do not. The AI takes the calls nobody was picking up anyway — after hours, at lunch, and the third simultaneous call — so the person you already have stops apologizing to a full lobby. If you were about to hire a second one, that is the hire this replaces.
What if I am not technical?
Then you are the normal case. We build it, you approve how it sounds, and after that the only thing you touch is an app that tells you who called and what they wanted. Setup takes about a week and the part that requires you is one conversation about your business plus a fifteen-minute review.
What if I try it and hate it?
Month-to-month after setup, cancel with 30 days notice, and we hand back an export of everything plus your phone number exactly as it was. The setup fee is the part you cannot get back, which is why we quote it before you pay and why we do the after-hours recording first — so you are not guessing about whether you have a problem.
Does it work if my customers call and text in Spanish?
For straightforward calls, yes. For anything nuanced, English is materially stronger right now and we will tell you that rather than sell you something that frustrates your customers. If a big share of your calls are not in English, say so on the first call and we will be honest about the fit.
